Lantore opens in a region only when we have everything in place to protect families there properly. This page shows the launch policy and, below it, a live check against our system. It is a beta draft pending legal review, and it is not legal advice.
What the statuses mean
- Open: the full product is available.
- Restricted: available, with some features turned off (for example voice).
- Closed: not yet. We are still preparing what is needed. Nothing is collected from you.
- Blocked: we do not offer Lantore here, for the reason given.
Countries not listed are closed by default.
Launch policy
| Region | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| United States | Restricted | Voice monitoring is not available. Some states need everyone's consent to record communications, so please read our privacy notice. |
| Canada (outside Quebec) | Open | Quebec is closed for now: it needs extra work. |
| Australia | Open | A child notice is shown. |
| New Zealand | Open | |
| United Kingdom | Closed | We need local assessments and representatives first. |
| European Union and EEA, Switzerland | Closed | Coming. We need data protection assessments, representatives and local-language notices before we can open. |
| Quebec, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, United Arab Emirates | Closed | Each needs region-specific preparation. |
| India | Blocked | Its data protection law restricts behavioural monitoring of children, so we do not offer Lantore there. |
| China, Russia, Belarus, Saudi Arabia, Turkey | Blocked | We cannot offer the service there at present. |
| Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions | Blocked | Sanctions and verification limits. |
We revisit these decisions as laws and our readiness change. Opening a region is a deliberate decision we record, not something that happens automatically.
