Lantore for Windows

Install it on your child's PC, together with them. It takes about two minutes. You will need a Lantore account to get a pairing code.

Download for Windows

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit · free during the beta

  1. Create your account and complete verified-parent setup

Sign up, verify your email, confirm you are a parent or guardian, choose what Lantore may do, add your child and set your parent PIN. The setup wizard walks you through it.

  2. Install it on their PC, together

Run the installer on your child's Windows PC. Show them the Lantore icon in the system tray and open the "What Lantore monitors" window with them. That conversation is the most important part.

  3. Enter the pairing code

The wizard shows an 8-character code that works once, for 15 minutes. Type it into the Lantore app. The wizard turns green when the PC connects.

Requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
  • A normal internet connection
  • Administrator permission to install
  • A Lantore account, created by a parent or guardian
  • Your child living in a region where Lantore is available (currently the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand; details)

macOS, phones and consoles are not available yet. Tell us what you need.

A note about Windows warnings

During the beta, Windows SmartScreen may say it "protected your PC" because the download is not yet widely recognized. Choose More info, check that the publisher says Lantore, then Run anyway. If you want to be extra careful, compare the file's SHA-256 checksum below.

Using it responsibly

  • Install Lantore only on a device owned by your own minor child, and tell them about it.
  • It shows an icon and uninstalls normally from Windows Settings (it asks for your parent PIN).
  • Do not use it to monitor partners, employees or other adults.
